Pumpkin Patch Portraiture

She just couldn't be any cuter. Her mom has exquisite taste in clothes for her, thankfully.

Pumpkin Patch

We went out to Stillwater Saturday to examine the options by way of large, orange gourds for the fall. Tilly fed some sheep, patted a cow, and generally had a good time. Of course, she looked adorable, so it's hard to remember the rest of what happened.

Twins Game #9, Lost to the As 3-1

Possibly the most boring Twins game I have ever been to. Tilly and I walked, said hi to people, and came home. It was very un-memorable on the baseball side, however.

So this was Twins game #9 for both of us...#8 together. I am 5-4 this year. I think Tilly may be 6-3. One more game to go before the playoffs.

Goodbye

I said goodbye tonight to my 1979 GMC Suburban. I bought this truck on April 24, 2001 from my friend's brother in law. It's been a deep part of me. It was time for a change for both of us. Some really really big dreams drove into the sunset on Como Avenue tonight, but that's life.

Blueberry-Peach Pie Is Worth Living For

My daughters.

Thanks, wonderful neighbor Kristal Leebrick, for the delightful pie.

Tilly Tormenting the Pea Cocks (and Hens, I Presume) at Schell's Brewery

Life is nothing if not a grand adventure.

Tilly at Schell's Brewery

In lieu of a northern Wisconsin cabin trip that didn't materialize, we went out to New Ulm a couple weeks ago with Jim and holly and family to see the Schells Brewery. Tilly enjoyed the trip...I think she enjoyed sitting in the back seat of the car with Alexus more than being at the brewery, but so it goes.
