The Walker-Outside

We went to the Walker yesterday to check out the Alec Soth exhibit. First, we headed outside to the Sculpture Garden...THEN Tilly returned inside to give all the docents some heartburn.

Thanksgiving

Most of the emphasis was on Jameson (and Tilly).

Aeh-Pae (A.K.A. Airplane)

We broke down and gave Tilly one of her Christmas presents early.

Children's Museum II

We went to The Bulldog after the museum. We learned that loud pubs are great for kids, because they can scream all they want and they won't disturb others.

Children's Museum I

Tilly enjoyed the black light painting. There's enough stuff there to entertain and occupy parents, too.

Halloween, Belatedly

We made it out to a couple neighbors' houses. Tilly wanted to make an early night of it. She
s obsessed with Elmo.

Door County II

I love Tilly.

Door County

We traveled to Door County, WI last weekend for a wedding I got to photograph. Luckily, Emma and Tilly were able to come with me, and we got to spend a little bit of time exploring Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Ephraim, Sister Bay, Ellison Bay and Gills Rock.

We'll have to go back. It was beautiful. The wedding was cool, too...right on the water in Ellison Bay, with a fish boil and everything.

Tilly's Tenth Twins Game (Lost to Toronto, 13-2)

This wraps up our spectating for 2010. Tilly and I were 3-2 last year in the Metrodome, and this year together we were 4-5. She saw another game with her mom that the Twins won.

The Twins won nearly 70% of their home games this year, and we managed to see a majority of losses. Oh well.

I realized a dream this year when I got to go to a ballgame outside with my daughter. There will be plenty more seasons (and this one still could out to be historically special). But this year was special.

After 28 years of languishing inside, we returned to normalcy this year.

Thanks for a great year Twins. Now go kick some ass in the playoffs. No more one and done. That's not good enough.
