Tilly fell asleep on the way in from the parking lot, and awoke complaining that she didn't get to go on any rides as we were packing up the van to go home.

Como Park Japanese Lantern Festival | 08.19.12
Lots o' freaks here this night. Didn't afford a very good view of the lanterns. The food was good. Tilly was beautiful. You win some, you lose some.

Emma's Birthday at Canterbury | 08.02.12
It was dollar dog night. I think we almost broke even on our wagers. Tilly seemed to enjoy the horses.
Ely | 07.22.12
We spent a fantastic week in Ely in a rented house on the very southwesterly corner of White Iron Lake. We had a house to ourselves. The boat wouldn't start easily, so Emma couldn't do much fishing. Pat and Tilly went hiking nearly every day at some National Forest trail. George and Carol joined us for the last weekend. When George fell, Tilly helped his cut on his leg with some very special band aids. We went to visit Aunt Louise, and had dinner at the Burntside Lodge, one of our favorite spots. One of the trippiest moments was watching Tilly watch some original claymation Gumby.
